The YeahWeLink Music Festival & Industry Workshop 2026 is back with another culture-shifting edition, bringing together emerging artists, industry leaders and music lovers for a full day dedicated to learning, networking and live music.
Hosted by YeahWeLit Entertainment as part of the YeahWeLit Development Project, the event takes over The Bridge Creative Hub in Maboneng, Johannesburg, on Saturday, 1 August 2026. Powered by CAPASSO (The Mechanical Rights Hub), the initiative continues to bridge the gap between independent artists and the music industry by combining practical industry knowledge with a live performance platform.
The day kicks off with the YeahWeLink Industry Workshop, where artists will gain insights into music distribution, publishing, royalties, branding, marketing, media, content creation and career development. The speaker line-up features respected industry voices including Rashid Kay, Lady K, Chealex Mpanza, IllyTheHost, Lerato Zwane, Chik Aloy, Eatzz, Joyful, Neo Mkatini, alongside a CAPASSO representative. Hosted by Nyeleti The Star, the workshop is further supported by SOL Distro, the event’s official Knowledge Partner.
When the sun goes down, the spotlight shifts to the YeahWeLink Music Festival, showcasing some of South Africa’s most exciting independent talent. This year’s line-up includes Flash Ikumkani, Sastii, Jepedoh, Bantu Knots, Wassup Fantasy, StaticFlo, Kikie Kandy, Curfew630, Benate, Kea014, YungkidDreezy, Big Slim, Melanin Dripp, Blaqsta, Jabby Jabz and many more, with Young Makitaza taking on hosting duties.
More than just another music event, YeahWeLink has become a launchpad for independent artists looking to build sustainable careers. By connecting musicians with distributors, media professionals, industry executives and fellow creatives, the platform continues to strengthen South Africa’s independent music ecosystem while creating opportunities that extend far beyond the stage.
YeahWeLink Music Festival & Industry Workshop 2026 takes place on Saturday, 1 August 2026, at The Bridge Creative Hub in Maboneng.
