Chicago-based musician Jon Alvarado is best known as the drummer of rock bands Beach Bunny and Latter.
Recently, the artist debuted a solo project called Jon Often. His first release as Jon Often is an EP titled Frankie.
I find this mini-collection of songs quite enjoyable, with Jon exploring themes such as love and nostalgia.
The EP not only showcases the various musical influences the artist has received over the years but also gives us a taste of Chicago’s new sound.
