If you only have time for one album this weekend, make it Chaos Reflections by Australian alt-rock band The Vultures.
It’s the second full-length project from the Gold Coast outfit formed in 2013 by longtime pals Liam Bowditch and Joe Bon MacPhail–it follows their 2022 release Escobar.
I’d say ‘Chaos Reflections‘ is such a befitting title for this 10-song album. Here, the Vultures explore existentialism, heartbreak, and the search for meaning in a chaotic world.
Still, the album is filled with captivating melodies, and you don’t have to be a rock music head to enjoy it. It starts with the mesmerizing “Oh Love”.
