Emtee Reveals New Management As He Resets His Career. Emtee is turning the page on a significant chapter of his career after officially ending his relationship with his previous management team. The South African hip hop star says the decision reflects his commitment to protecting his brand while building a stronger and more transparent future.
In an official statement shared through Emtee Records on 30 June 2026, the rapper explained that the move was carefully considered as he embraces a fresh vision for his career.
“As I step into a new chapter and a new vision for my career, I’ve made the decision to part ways with my previous management,” Emtee wrote. “This decision I had to make because I believe my career deserves a team that’s focused on growth, transparency, and moving in the right direction.”
Known for chart-topping songs such as “Roll Up” and his unmistakable “Geleza” style, Emtee revealed that concerns over the handling of payments for performances and appearances played a major role in his decision. According to the rapper, money paid to his former management for bookings created complications that threatened both his reputation and business interests.
“Unfortunately, there have been payments made for gigs and appearances to my former management that have not been handled in a way that reflects my values or protects my brand,” he continued. “I can no longer allow that to continue.”
The award-winning artist also confirmed that the transition has already been in motion. Since 9 June 2026, he has been working with a new management team that he believes is fully committed to his career, his music, and the fans who have supported him throughout his journey.
Going forward, Emtee says all bookings, business enquiries, and professional engagements must be directed exclusively to his new manager, Hlubi Radebe, who can be reached on 084 989 7015 or via Noplayplay@gmail.com.
He also issued a clear message to promoters, event organisers, collaborators, and anyone looking to do business with him.
“Please note that any bookings, business discussions, or agreements made through any other person or contact claiming to represent me will not be recognised or entertained.”
Emtee ended his statement by reflecting on the hard work that has shaped his career and made it clear that he will no longer tolerate anyone benefiting from his name without proper authority.
“I’ve worked too hard to build my name, and I’m done with people using it for their own personal gain. From this point forward, everything goes through my official management. Thank you to everyone who’s continued to support me. The journey continues, bigger moves, better music, and nothing but positive energy.”
The announcement, issued under the banner of Emtee Records, also echoes the label’s “No Play Play” philosophy, highlighting dedication, perseverance, and professionalism as the foundation for the rapper’s next phase.
The management change marks an important milestone in Emtee’s career as he strengthens control over his business affairs while preparing for the future. Although the full structure of his new team has not yet been revealed, his latest statement leaves little doubt that he is focused on building a more secure and artist-driven operation.
With a renewed vision and a clear direction in place, fans can expect Emtee to channel that energy into the next chapter of his music career, one built on growth, accountability, and positive momentum.
