The Replicants – “I Remember”

The Replicants‘ “I Remember” is a catchy and uplifting garage rock anthem. Although the song is characterized by sweeping nostalgia, it still instils a deep sense of optimism for what lies ahead. “I Remember” features one hell of a chorus, with melodies that will be stuck in your head for days. Taming Sari – “Ghost of a Good Time”

“Ghost of a Good Time” by Canadian band Taming Sari is such a powerful song. The anthemic single is about a memory that still lingers long after the event. The nostalgic yet reflective song is perfect for road trips and night-outs — “Ghost of a Good Time” is for fans of alt rock and pop rock. About the production, it’s remarkable how the gritty guitars pair nicely with the soaring vocals.

Lukka – “Blue Ocean Eyes”

New York City based psychedelic synth-rock outfit Lukka have released two albums this year. Their most recent record, Wendekind, dropped on June 5th. It’s a ten-song collection that was preceded by the single “Blue Ocean Eyes”. Paired with a haze-filled music video, “Blue Ocean Eyes” features atmospheric synths and rhythmic basslines. The song, and the album in general, sees Lukka’s sound evolve into a more synth-driven direction.

In April, the trio began the rollout of their second album with the release of a single titled “Durak”. Riff Wood – “Butterfly In Black And White”

Riff Wood, the Utah-based rock trio formed by three long-time friends Carson Groves, Hyrum Russon and Asher Winegar, have a new song that I’ve really enjoyed listening to. What drew me to “Butterfly In Black And White” is how it creatively blends different styles to create a song that sounds bright, poppy and thoughtful. With production from Rob Cavallo, “Butterfly In Black And White” carries hints of punk pop. The song delves into life’s unpredictable dualities.

Wild Maui – “Vandalist”

Lisbon-born Portuguese musician André Ferreira, who goes by the moniker Wild Maui, officially made his debut last month. “Vandalist” is the name of his first ever release, which is a gripping alt-rock track. “Vandalist” embodies Ferreira’s artistic identity; his music is an expression of his frustrations and the restless search for meaning. Sonically, this song is really amazing.
